Shameless
These arcane journals are just gw shameless money grabbing. The price is way too much for what equates to a free medical pamphlet from planned parenthood. You get 20ish pages of nothing and 2 themed army lists you were already making yourself with the allies rules.

Little thin but not terrible
It is a little thin for the price. That said it does have some nice lore and profiles. Not a necessity purchase but ok to have.

Where is the content in these books?
For the price these books are not worth it. There is not enough content to justify the costs. The book is mostly filler with a couple of stats for some named and unnamed characters/units. This is just games-workshop being greedy to get every nickel out of its customers.
