When the French emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte, slipped his shackles and escaped from the island of Elba to reclaim his throne, Europe was gripped in both terror or awe. This military genius had defeated huge allied armies many times and the fear was that this "Corsican Ogre" would drive the coalition forces into bloody war with France and her allies once again.
Within weeks, a cadre of an army was formed and Napoleon further bolstered his force with the veterans of the Imperial Guard and enthusiastic recruits. The French Army, "Les Bleus" as they were known, hoped to shatter either the Duke of Wellington's allied army or Blücher's resolute Prussians. Always a bold general, Bonaparte decided to do both!

Wow, This box is FULL of Vive L'Empereur, 10 Battalions of solid infantry, Heavy cavalry, Light cavalry and Artillery support, some skirmishers too. Includes flags and the rulebook, bases and a building. This is the best way to get into Napolenics and of course, Miniature Market always has the best prices.
