28mm ScaleThe Panzer III was one of the most numerous German tanks of the war, and was the mainstay of German armoured forces when they invaded France and the Low Countries, then later Russia. It was well armoured for the time and equipped with the 5cm KwK 38 or 39 L/42 cannon, the N variant having a 7.5cm KwK 37 cannon.
This boxed set allows you to build one of five different variants:
• Early and late Ausf. J with its 5cm main gun and extral frontal armor
• The Ausf. L, which saw an upgraded long 5cm main gun and further armor upgrades
• The Ausf. M clad in trademark Schürzen armored skirts and deep-wading exhaust
• The Ausf. N infantry support tank with its short-barrelled 7.5cm gun
