Great value at clearance price

Average rating of 3 out of 5 stars

Two excellent 5th edition books and an abridged combination of two more monster compendiums.

Pictures really don’t do this set justice. It looks amazing.

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

The content of the books is the standard D&D affair. The only difference with this set is cosmetic. That being said, WOTC sort of killed it with the aesthetics here. The white looks great, and the art on the books and case has a unique style that I definitely enjoy. The DM screen also looks great. Definitely worth the extra cost.

Beautiful Box Set

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Beautiful box set and the books are excellent expansions on the core rule books with lots of additions if you want some alternate ideas and ways to play. The DM screen may just be the coolest looking one ever made. You won’t be disappointed if you pick up a copy.

I bought this on sale and it was an incredible deal for a really sick expansion box. Can't wait to use the DM screen and expanded character rules in my upcoming run of wbtw! Thanks, MM!!

Good for new DMs

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Nice collection of great books for those who don't have anything besides the core rulebooks. Monsters of the Multiverse simply compiles races and monsters so it may not be that useful if you already own several of the books. The included DM screen is quite pretty and my players loved looking at it when I first set it up.

Only buy if you don't have previous books

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

As the title says. The books are beautiful and packed with information, but unless you're deeply invested in errata and the transition to 5.5, you should avoid this set if you already have Volo's Guide to Monsters, Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. In fact, Monsters of the Multiverse contains much less information than its component books due to its focus on stat blocks alone.

Limited edition

Great cover and art but same as original but the cover and screen make it worth the extra cash

Only one of these is a new book

Average rating of 3 out of 5 stars

This one is sb obvious cash grab from Wizards. Two of these books are reprints. On top of that, the artwork on these alternate artwork books is going downhill compared to the older books (Volos would be their best)
