Fun and fast card game
The pace is quick and I enjoy the theme of this game. It's definitely worth playing and won't frustrate new players with complex rules

Interesting little game
I've been interested in this game for a long time, its very easy to learn and honestly I think I prefer it to MTG personally (I don't like card chasing)

Undrated Gem
Best game out there to simulate what Magic tries to do without the huge price point.

Glad I got this one
I used to have a copy of this game when it originally came out but I gave it to a friend and I regretted it ever since! So when I found it on MM I had to get it! Super fun, easy to learn, and has great replayability right out of the box. Also a ton of expansions out there to enhance the game but the base box perfectly fine for hours of fun!

Good Game
Nice quick card game. Love that it lets you play a good 'tcg' without spending hundreds on boosters/online stores chasing particular cards. It's a nice short game to play but is definitely a little bit on the simpler side.

(Not-)CCG in one small Box!
Epic is a card game that provides a Magic the Gathering-like experience in one non-blind-buy box. The standard format sees you dividing up the cards with your opponent and starting battle immediately. Cards of the same faction (of four) provide synergies. The Epic nature is seen in that powerful creatures and spells can be played from the get-go, rather than needing to wait to build up power over several turns like Magic. The core box provides interesting variants like draft formats.

Good Game
My five-year old son loves this game. I took the base set and built him a 30 card Sage/Wild deck, removing some cards with the more complicated interactions, and putting in all of the Dinosaurs and Robots. Then I usually shuffle the remaining cards and deal 30 random cards for my deck. It's a great way to trick him into improving his math, reading and critical thinking skills.

A fast paced, explosive dueling game
Epic has the players facing of in a duel to the death, summoning powerful creatures known as "champions" and cataclysmic events used to turn the tides of battle in their favor. If you have ever played Magic the Gathering you will find a lot of things very familiar here, Unlike MtG however, you have no mana to keep track of, only a single gold that you can use each turn. Many of the cards you will play will cost a gold so you must choose carefully which card is most important each round. The cards that do not cost a gold can be played freely whenever you wish. Each card in this game is explosive. Many of them will be creatures able to inflict huge damage on you opponent or clear the battlefield of units entirely. This makes the gameplay fast and furious, with many matches lasting only a few minutes. The game does have a few issues. The bombastic nature of many of the cards can lead to very swingy battles. You might think you are doing well one moment and you opponent might wipe you entire force with one card. This leads to a decreased emphasis on strategy. Also, if you play without drafting cards or playing with the balanced decks, it is very possible that you could get a very bad deck of cards that will not really leave you any way of winning. That being said, if you are okay with some randomness and don't care too much about the outcome of the battle, then this isn't much of a problem and can lead to some quick, fun battles. For the price it is a great little game. And if you are looking for some to scratch that "Magic Itch" this might just be the game for you.
