D&D Icons of the Realms Miniatures: Elemental Evil - Silver Dragon Premium Figure

Great looking miniature! Fantastic details. It's smaller than I thought it would be but it will still work.

Great dragon and much cheaper than unpainted ones.

Overall I like this mini a lot, especially for the price it had while on sale. The sculpt and overall look is fantastic. The overall finish is a little plain and typical for Wizkids - could really use a wash and some dry brushing to print out the texture in the wings, scales, etc. Mine also was one or two very small spots with missing paint where you can see the unpainted plastic underneath. Overall, I'm happy with the product for what I paid for it.

Great sculpt, loses star for large gaps in arm-to-body joints

When you line this dragon up next to a humanoid mini, you get the sense it could swoop down and devour the ocean, human, etc. standing before it. Perfect display piece or high level opponent for an evil d and d group or a campaign taking place during a dragon rage. Since all the silver dragon minis out there are quite pricey it's nice to have a large one available for slightly more.

This is a nice sculpt, in a great action pose. The painting on these minis has gotten much better than the old series of D&D minis, but a skilled painter will still find it lacking. I docked it a point "Game Play" because you don't really fight silver dragons in most groups/games since they're incurably good. The price at the time of this review is a good $10 cheaper than my FLGS and Ebay, but if you want one, buy it early because these minis pretty much just keep going up in price. I docked a point in value because compared to buying a Safari LTD dragon, Wizkid minis (D&D minis, Pathfinder Battles and Clix) are significantly more expensive.
