I love this set. It should make my NPC encounters more lively.
First off: WOW! This is the premium set I've been waiting for. What took so long for someone to create a tavern setting? Every sculpt in this set met my expectations. The paint job is good, too. Retailers could overcharge me and I'd still buy this set. The little painted bottles of elixirs are fun to stock the shelves with and wonder what curious beverage names I can come up with to sell thirsty adventures. Belly-up to the bar and place your order.

My favourite doll's house
Whoever came up with this idea deserves a reward, this is brilliant! It's a simple but beautiful set of used-looking tavern furniture in dark wood tones complemented with six sets of bottles, a beer keg with a tap, and four bar stools that are not seen in this picture. There's no floor and the pieces are separate from each other, so you can arrange your bar/doll's house in any way you like. Fill the bar with NPC's (and more furniture) from the Rusty Dragon Inn series and it really comes to life. Gather your PC heroes to the bar in your shelf when you're not playing, to bring a smile to your face. And when actually playing, the tavern/inn/bar is such an ubiquitous location, that the game play value of the piece couldn't be higher. OK, you're not always battling in the tavern, so you're not required to have these pieces for tactical reasons (although tavern brawls and ambushes are certainly common!). But it's just so beautiful and cozy to see your beloved heroes enter this best of doll's houses.
