Monster Menagerie is the fourth set of randomly sorted monsters and heroes in the exciting new line of D&D miniatures, Icons of the Realms.

In Monster Menagerie you will find a vast array of challenges for your heroes to overcome and allies to fight by your side. Face Bulettes as they use their powerful claws to tunnel through the earth when they hunt. Or the Gelatinous Cube as it scours dungeon passages in silent, predictable patterns. Or the Displacer Beast which takes its name from its ability to mask itself with illusion, displacing light so that it appears to be somewhere it is not. Will your heroes rise to the challenge?

Random, but Fun

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Always a long shot of getting the mini you want, but still fun to open and see what you get.

Good figures, a bit outdated

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

This set has a good selection of figures, and each box comes with a large figure. The sculpts and paints are good for the most part, but with the more recent sets like Boneyard, Dungeon of the Mad Mage, and Fangs and Talons, these minis just seem a bit lower quality.

Not worth the higher price

Average rating of 2 out of 5 stars

Any booster at a higher price will be under higher scrutiny and there's maybe one mini i actually wanted.

Mostly satisfactory

Average rating of 3 out of 5 stars

Always fun opening a random pool of collectibles. Paint jobs were mostly quite good. Had 1 defective rare piece though. That was disappointing. 3/5

Missing Mini, Wizkids will not help

Average rating of 3 out of 5 stars

I recently purchased two of these booster packs. One pack came with a full set of four minis while the other only came with three. I contacted Wizkids to see if they could help me get the missing mini that I had paid for. They replied saying they only replace figures. Meaning if there is one or two missing minis in a pack, you're out of luck. You are indeed gambling with these boxes.

Figs are Nice, WizKids is Awful

Average rating of 1 out of 5 stars

I bought a booster pack from my local comic store, and while I really did like a lot of the figs that came from it (Gelatinous Cube, heck yeah), I received a invisible Phase Spider with one side of the legs completely ripped/cut off. I tried contacting WizKids, but they gave me a one-lined answer "You have to ship us the item for us to replace it" which made sense and I wasn't disagreeing that I needed to send it back to get a new one. However, to ship it costs about half of the cost of a box without a guarantee that I would receive the same item back. I tried to ask them for a phone number so I could call and explain, to get a shipping label from them, but they either ignored my email or copied and pasted their response. The figs are generally fine, but Wizkid customer service is really, really terrible. Just to warn you, you roll the dice when buying their stuff. They won't follow through on basic customer service because either they don't care, or they are incompetent. **My 1 star review reflects experience with Wizkid and Phase Spider (Invisible)**
