D&D Nolzur's Marvelous Unpainted Minis: W1 Male Human Wizard

I've been needing a good wizard for a while and now I have it

I enjoy this sculpt so much! The photos speak for themselves... Absolutely love this one. 😄

Sculpts are great, easy to paint and price is right. I painted mine up as red wizards of thay and enjoyed the process. Cant wait to use em on the table.

Nice figures. Some mold lines and warping. Nothing some very hot water and a hobby knife could not sort out. The clear spell effects were pretty fiddly to get on. Shipping was pretty slow. The order spent nearly a week processing.

Excited to paint this one. I don’t really like the head of the staff but will try to clip and alter it.

Amazing miniatures, just not the best for PC. Noone starts with a middle-aged to elderly character. But as an npc this is an amazing pack A++ PC quality miniatures at npc prices. If you got in at the $3.59 price point, you will be a happy camper here. Mold lines are a little tricky, but the detail for the money, amazing. I have tested these and they can be painted without priming. Just clean the mold lines and go.

I could not be more pleased with the spell effects- they come detached and translucent, so you can paint the mini first and glue on after for cool effect. And being a clear plastic, light washes look really cool. My only issue- it's another old wizard. not many players i know like to play old wizards. That being said, I enjoy it very much.
