D&D Miniatures: Icons of the Realms - Classic Creatures Box Set

The real gems in this set are the purple worm and demogoron. The rest of the minis are just filler. The owlbear looks weird.

This is an awesome package with a lot of great stuff in it. I didn't honestly expect the shear size of a few of these miniatures, especially Demogorgon and the purple worm. For starters this is actually Demogorgon its a massive miniature that dwarfs an adventure as the Prince of Demons should. He's terrifying and I absolutely love it. As for the purple worm this thing is massive an actual gargantuan miniature that is so big they had to make the worm and the base two separate pieces. The thing could swallow an adventurer in its massive maw in one bite, not to mention the pose looks fantastic. The other miniatures are good as well except for the two orcs who look like bipedal pigs which would be a little disappointing if it wasn't for the rest of the miniatures in this pack. The other minis such as the ogre mage, the troll, the two sahuagin, and the owlbear are all good sculpts and well painted as well. Overall a pretty good value albeit a bit expensive. However I would recommend this to anyone who is willing to spend the money, and if not, I would definitely recommend Demogorgon and the purple worm to be purchased separately for a lower price. However e careful with Demogorgan as the mini on this site that is sold by itself is not the correct miniature, be careful to look for the pose this particular Demogorgon has.
