It really looks like fire!
I have used this many times in conjunction with my druid. When he casts wall of fire, I just plunk these down and that is that!

Wizkids' Wall of Fire & Wall of Ice Set
Really like the concept and the quality of the 'miniatures,' but I would've preferred to see either more pieces to the set or a lower price. A single set is more than adequate to fulfill the role of certain spells, but if you're looking to make an ice cave for instance, one set is wholly insufficient. Grabbed it during a sale - otherwise I would've held off on it for price alone.

I really love the look. I added tea lights behind the the walls of fire to add a flickering effect. The ice walls will be great to add as walls to an ice cave type dungeon for effect as well as using it for the spell.

Exactly what you think it is, pieces of fire and ice to use for the wall of spells. While nothing special they are still great for representing the spells and much better than just drawing it or using an improvised marker

I Love D&D Spell Effects Minis!
While perhaps slightly overpriced, the D&D Spell Effects line is among my favorite purchases. Nothing impresses players more than having a miniature for every occasion!
