Pathfinder Battles Deep Cuts Unpainted Minis: W4 Dire Wolf

The other brands of Dire Wolf minis looked too small or not fierce enough, but these are exactly how I imagine them to look. Good quality of the mini and really easy to paint!

A fun miniature to paintu2014the fur becomes much more impressive, and the snarl more expressive, with even an amateur coat of wash. (Which is all I am capable of at this point.)

I have some smaller wolves and wanted a larger pack leader wolf - this guy certainly fits the bill. I knew that Pathfinder minis tend to run a bit bigger than D&D minis, so I took a chance on this one. Yep, he is bigger than my others and perfect to be the leader of the pack.

I am currently running Curse of Strahd in D&D 5e, and I knew that I was gonna need a collection of minis to strike fear into my players’ hearts. When I revealed not one but three of these from behind my GM screen, my players freaked out in the best possible way. They helped to make what would have been just another boring wolf encounter to a memorable and epic experience that made them sweat to keep their characters alive. The detail on these minis are awesome. I am a huge fan of the craftsmanship. I have not even painted them, yet, but I know they’re going to be awesome when I do.

I needed some wolves for the curse of Strahd campaign, they have been hard to find lately. Great mold and fun to paint. I did remove the spines on the back for a more natural look.
