Needs a little bit of cleanup, but looks great and coming primed is always nice. Give it a grungy paint job and it's perfect.

Great, usable dungeon scenery
The cage + chains set are a great piece of dungeon dressing for your table. There's a little bit of flash on the cage in some parts, but it looks great with a rough iron kind of paint job and some rust; same with the chains. And you can put a human sized or smaller miniature into the cage for a rescue scenario. I would say it's a good idea to varnish these, since the interlocking parts could wear away paint with a lot of use.

This makes the adventure come alive!!!
What I really like about WizKids products is that they have high definition / detail and come primed so all I have to do is add the colorful paints. The great detail helps make these miniatures come to life. I have gotten numerous compliments using these miniatures.

Excellent set pieces for you tabletop dungeons.
Once again, WizKids delivers a quality miniature set that will come in handy when dressing up your games/dioramas. The set consists of 2 large piles of chains (identical sculpts) and a cage that consists of 2 parts: the cage itself and square, slotted base that the cage connects to. Overall, the quality of the set is very good. The details on the chain piles allow you to see individual links and on the cage, you can easily make out nicks and scratches on the bars along with the wooden texture of the cage base. I was very pleased with the size of the pieces. I wasn't expecting them to be as big as they were. You can easily fit a standard sized WizKids miniature inside the cage, possibly two if you don't have them attached to the 25mm bases. The downsides are these: There was a slight bit of flashing on all of the pieces that I received. Removing it from the cage will be no problem at all. Removing it from the chain piles will be a little more difficult because you run the risk of accidentally removing parts from the pile if you're not careful. The cage base I received was slightly warped. It's not extremely noticeable just sitting on the table, but it once you pick it up to examine, it pops out at you. The chain piles also suffer from bent parts that result in loose chain link "tendrils" floating in the air like they're alive. If you need a chain elemental figure, this isn't a problem. Myself? I will probably use some heat to flatten them down before I start painting. If you use miniatures in your RP gaming, go ahead and grab this set. You're sure to get a lot of use out of it.
