In the city of Waterdeep rests a tavern called the Yawning Portal, named after the gaping pit in its common room. At the bottom of this crumbling shaft is a labyrinthine dungeon known as Undermountain, domain of the mad wizard Halaster Blackcloak who has seeded his lair with monsters, traps, and mysteries. This set of collectible figures perfectly represents many of the monsters and villains found throughout the 23 levels of Undermountain detailed in Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage.
Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage includes exciting new player characters & monsters like the Elf Cleric of the Grave and the terrifying Death Tyrant. Undermountain's most infamous villains make an appearance, including the Mad Mage, Halaster himself and his ambitious apprentices. This set also includes several classic creatures such as the benevolent Flumph and the 3-eyed terror known as the dreaded Froghemoth!

D&D Icons of the Realms Miniatures: Waterdeep Dungeon of the Mad Mage
The perfect addition to the module. Now you can place the actual monsters out on the table when playing. The figures are well detailed and painted nicely. The sculpts are excellent. Otto the purple dragon is very cool and who doesn't want a zombie beholder. Time to make those obnoxious dungeoneers pay.

Great miniatures for all collections!
I bought this to go along with the Dungeon of the Mad Mage board game. I was lucky to only have 2 duplicate figures in the entire bunch, which also wasn't a big deal for me because in the board game there are multiple miniatures that are present with more than just one copy. Obviously these boosters have more than just what is included in the board game which is why I think they work well for any collector.

Recommend for this looking for new stuff to try
If you are looking for basic miniatures or are newly starting collecting I’d recommend other bricks but if you are looking to add and expand your collection then this is for you!

Soils for adding to a collection
Mad mage is not what I’d recommend to a new DM looking to start a collection but it is great for adding a new level of variety to a experienced collector/DM

I'm glad I made this purchase :)
I purchased this as well as the board game to have a lot of the minis from this set. I also purchased the hard book and the map pack with extra stuff. I really like this set and the models are pretty cool. I got a balor which is what I really wanted because the death tyrant comes in the standard board game edition. If you buy a brick of this and have the board game you will most likely have a close to complete set of things.
