In the city of Waterdeep rests a tavern called the Yawning Portal, named after the gaping pit in its common room. At the bottom of this crumbling shaft is a labyrinthine dungeon known as Undermountain, domain of the mad wizard Halaster Blackcloak who has seeded his lair with monsters, traps, and mysteries. This set of collectible figures perfectly represents many of the monsters and villains found throughout the 23 levels of Undermountain detailed in Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage.

Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage includes exciting new player characters & monsters like the Elf Cleric of the Grave and the terrifying Death Tyrant. Undermountain's most infamous villains make an appearance, including the Mad Mage, Halaster himself and his ambitious apprentices. This set also includes several classic creatures such as the benevolent Flumph and the 3-eyed terror known as the dreaded Froghemoth!

Well packaged, good verity

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Purchased as a gift, so I haven't opened all boxes. The ones I did open were well packed and a good veriety. Only noticable negative was the veteran mini had a very strange looking neck and I can't tell if it's a messed up mold or a poor disgine.

Rate your D&D Miniatures: Waterdeep Dungeon of the Mad Mage - Booster Case

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Buying these miniatures in a case almost ensures a full set with the rare ones included(not the ultra rare invisibles unfortunately). The demons included and the amount of undead really makes this set stand out.

Very nice set, with good common minis and some super rares!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

A solid set of prepainted plastic minis. When compared to the Waterdeep: Dragonheist set the Waterdeep: DUngeon of the Mad Mage blows them away. The difference is night and day. I bought a case and each box I opened had something I liked, and many minis that were interesting and useful. The best minis in the set are the Death Tyrant, Halaster, the Flumpf, and the Shadow (it is tall so really looms!) The only mini that is strongly disappointing is the Intellect Devourer. It's a tiny featureless snot on a base mini and doesn't compare to other ID's other sets have had. All of the flying/floating minis have the much more robust sweeping clear plastic riser that is not as prone to breaking as the peg used in older sets.
