WizKids Deep Cuts Unpainted Minis: W10 Fountain

The detail on this piece is awesome. I love that the fountain comes apart to aid in the painting process, and can be made smaller by leaving out the middle section if you want to change things up during game play. My only issue is that the statue on top of the fountain is warped and bending forward and the trident is bent. I bought two of these at the same time and each one has the same problem, but this is a common issue with miniatures and can be rectified in the crafting process by heating up the plastic and bending it back.

I love this mini. It's surprisingly large, and incredibly detailed. The statue, water, and base separate, allowing for better detailing before final assembly. The seams require some attention to remove without wrecking the finer details, but nothing out of the ordinary. Use caution when removing seams from the trident as it's thin and easily bent. Other than that, this outstanding mini is a detailing dream. From the fountain base with the octopus arms to Poseidon's beard, it's got a bit of everything. Take your time and enjoy a show-worthy result.
