In the crooked alleys and dimly-lit streets of Baldur's Gate, diabolical dealings are afoot.

Mortals sign contracts in their own blood, exchanging their precious souls for sacks of gold or the promise of forbidden power. But into this den of villainy step brave adventurers, each one with the hero's spark, ready to embark on a quest worthy of their ability. However, their mettle will surely be tested as Baldur's Gate slowly reveals its dark secret and sends them on a harrowing descent into Avernus to face the archdevil Zariel herself!

I did get 1 of every Minifigure in the set, although I only got 1 of each rare, and many copies of NPC's instead of other minis within the set I needed copies of.

Best case so far out of WizKids

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I had 3 broken minis in the case. Out of 45 models types, the paint jobs are table ready and I really like that I have duplicates of monsters so I can use them in large mobs of minions when the players are higher level. Scarla Truestrike, Reya Mantlemorn, and Falaster Fisk aren't as useful to have so many of. Only having one Legion Chain Devil is problematic given how many of them are called for in the module. Aside from that this case is fantastic for GMs looking to go all in running the module. More so than any of the other collections to date.

Best case yet

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Gameplay: Finally we have a case with really good distribution by rarity to get desirable duplicates compaired to prior sets. Only a few common/uncommon minis are named characters but they all are very usable either as pcs or mobs (fireskulls/flesh golems.) Most common/uncommon minis in this set are worth having a handful of duplicates (excluding the abyssal chicken.) Quality: The bases of every mini in this set has white on black lettering, paint jobs are very consistent and of a much higher quality than older sets. Many minis have 4 or more colors of paints on them and many minis have special effects (fire/clear wings) and a multitude of textures. Given the increase in quality to sets prior to Dungeons of the Mad Mage it feels like you get what you pay for now. Value:10/10 worth, when compairing these minis to the DDM minis, the old glabrezue and pit fiend are over 60$s with most other larger devils being in the 30-40$ range. This is by far the most value worthy set of minatures to date.

Lawful Evil

Average rating of 3 out of 5 stars

It makes sense that this is a legion devil set, because wizards captures the Lawful Evil alignment in so many ways. Everything is flawed in an almost perfect manner, it makes you respect it while screaming inside with frustration. Once again the prices are crazy high. The quality covers everything from through the roof high, to kinder garden sloppy. The paints are consistently just off point in a frustrating way; some are cartoony , some a great but bland, some look like party clowns or cheap kids toys. And next to no shading or wash. It reminds me of the quote "a camel is a horse designed by a committee". A perfect idea with a compromised execution; you are still going to ride one, cause you are in Egypt...... but the whole thing is just so frustrating and unfulfilling, you have to force yourself not to think about it.
