D&D Nolzur's Marvelous Unpainted Minis: W12 Drow Mage & Drow Priestess

The “spirit bomb” wizard is a great pose and has some really cool detailing on the robes (including that classic spider web pattern), but the accompanying figure is less interesting in my opinion. Still worth it!

I just started playing D&D again after about 30 years, and I am amazed at the quality of plastic figures now, compared with the old metal figures. These drow, and virtually every other figure, are amazing!

This Drow Mage mini will be a spectacular final boss for my first time DM game I'm running. The detail on both minis is superb. 10/10

Cool minis. Priestess looks a bit weird but accurate to art.

Note: I use all miniatures for tabletop RPGs and fantasy figures are generally used for games and settings adhering to older D&D games, particularly with regard to the color palette and design of each figure. I won’t be reviewing any other game stats which may come with a given figure. Being pre-primed is nice and Wiz-Kids seems to be doing very nice sculpting work in general. Not much else to say, really. I guess I'll point out that I got this two-back mostly for the priestess with her classic look and tentacle-rod. The mage has web-detail on his robe, so he pretty much has to be a drow unless you remove those details, You could probably sand it out or just paint and extra layer or two over the detail if you want to use it as a generic elf.

Of all the from miniatures these two have the clearest details. Very happy with them.

Oh man, these two minis are just fantastic. The male looks like he's getting ready to throw a spirit bomb to his foes and it's just great. The female is ready to whip the slaves back in shape and what are you left with? A happy couple that can make anyone's day brighter... Anyways, I was looking for a male Drow wizard and I'm super happy that Dolzurs delivered. These two have great detail and are super easy to paint, thanks to their stance. Highly recommend.
