I love primordial elemental formless pieces that do present well for a semblance of shape. This is one of those.

Great mini, could easily use unpainted, but was fun to mess with regardless. Could also be a water elemental in a pinch.

Perfect for Princes of the Apocalypse

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Miniature came undamaged and exactly as expected. Regarding the sculpt, I purchased this mini to use as an Elemental Lord for my Princes of the Apocalypse campaign and I have to say it will do the job perfectly. While it is an air miniature, I am considering buying another to paint it to be a water elemental lord. For scale purposes, a traditional character miniature is approximately the width of this guy's hand! Very pleased with this one.

Unpainted Huge Air Elemental Lord (Pathfinder Battles Deep Cuts)

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Considering the huge price differential between the painted and unpainted versions of this mini, the unpainted version is the obvious choice for anyone interested in acquiring a huge air elemental miniature. The paint job of the painted version isn't so great as to justify the price differential. However, the image provided by Miniature Market for the unpainted version IS the painted version. The actual unpainted mini has a translucent light-blue appearance with a white stoney base. It doesn't necessarily need to be painted to be game-ready, but in its unpainted form, it looks more like a water elemental than an air elemental. I've yet to paint mine yet, but I suspect it will be a rather easy task. Given this is the only huge-sized air elemental miniature design to date, this is a no-brainer for anyone interested.

Great huge elemental

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This is a solid huge mini that can serve as an air or water elemental due to its natural coloration!

Had a great time with the grandkids using this in my D&D game. Got them into the Plane of Air and this surprised them. They didn't think about how hard it would be to fight air.

They are not exaggerating when they say huge. This is one of the biggest minis I've painted so far and also one of my favorites. The mini is almost unwieldly as you're painting it, but the end result is so delightful. I love the elemental's gaping maw and angry visage. I wound up painting this as a water elemental instead of an air elemental and it was a delight. The clouds at the base work just as well as frothing waves. I'll have to buy this again sometime and paint an actual air elemental.

Awesome

I was looking for this mini just a few weeks prior to it's release and the original was listed as $150! A quick drybrush with some off white paint and I have made the same mini for a fraction of the price. I love the elemental lords, great sculpts!
