Magic Unpainted Minis: W1 Borborygmos (Cyclops)

This is a big mini so the detail is good. Needs to be assembled. Looking forwaed to putting this on the table.

The mini has great detail and is even bigger than I thought it would be. Can't wait to paint it!

Huge figure, very impressive. Cyclops are not very common, so this works out very well as a unique champion or boss type.

It is way bigger than expected, I love it. Very detailed and smoth finish.

The mini is highly detailed and you have have to assemble the upper part of the axe. The part fits perfectly together! Great mini overall!

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Borborygmos figurine. The plastic material he is made out of is dense and sturdy feeling. Most mold lines on the figure are smoothed down and unnoticeable, expected to be invisible after painting. The connections at his horns and the bottom of his beard have small gaps, however I think these can be easily covered. When dealing with a figure consisting of multiple parts I am worried about its structural integrity, but I feel like he could very easily survive a table-height drop. The packaging did not bend any of the delicate features on the figure, and when pressuring these features they are pretty resistant to any bending. His axe comes detached for shipping, but the connection to his hand is seamless and tight. The details on the figure are crisp; this was a worry I had but I can comfortably say it looks very cleanly made. I think Borborygmos is generously priced and well worth the money.

Cool sculpt and massive! Only downside is the massive gaps where the pieces have been put together like the horns behind t it is workable.
