D&D Nolzur's Marvelous Unpainted Minis: W16 Chimera

The Chimera is amazing looking, and the flat token base is fine, the real problem is the cut base that comes with it. The chimera wants to fall off its cut base rather than snuggly fit to it and stay in the air. I recommend gorilla glue if you want this bad boy not to fall over or off its stand during play.

I am currently painting this Chimera with Bronze Dragon features as opposed to the usual Red Dragon. I like the unpainted mini’s detail compared to the painted counterparts.

Honestly, sometimes you see a mini a 100 times. and pass. Then you see it again one day online, in a picture and you go. .yeah. Thats cool. Then you get it in the mail and you're like.. meh. Thats this one for me. my biggest real gripe i suppose, is that I wish the tail was positioned differently. Ultimately, it will probably look just fine once it's properly primed. If you need an unpainted chimera, this is probably just fine.

Another great mini from Wizkids, awesome detail and a good size. The Chimera is a great D&D creature to add to your campaign. I loved painting this mini, great detail but not too tiny and frustrating. Overall I enjoyed painting this mini and would definitely buy again.
