10 Thermidor, Year II: Robespierre and his closest allies have been sent to the guillotine!
With the counter=revolutionaries in the Vendée all but subdued, the French armies gaining victories abroad and a good harvest, surely the so-called "Terror" can be winded down?
Without the sword of Damocles hanging over their heads, the conservatives emerge from the shadows again, intent on placing the young dauphin Louis XVII on the French throne. The radicals on the other hand feel uneasy about all of this: will democratic principles and bread still be a priority on the government's agenda? Caught in between are the Thermidorians, attempting to ensure stability until the convening of the Directory.
1795: The Thermidorians is the first expansion for 1793: Patriots & Traitors. Although not a "one vs all", the expansion does offer the Thermidorian faction a slight edge at the start of the game. Will that faction be able to hold on to this advantage until the end of the 16th game round?
