Safely smuggling and zealously guarding the amassed knowledge of the Dominion, no civilizations can match the City States' ingenuity, their technological brilliance or the discipline of their phalanxes.
Now, the Gorgon has been tasked with launching an invasion into the Allerian Plains, wishing to disrupt the growing influence of the Sorcerer Kings and using Boubalia as her staging point. A city that was never meant to be, Boubalia was designed to be a simple fortress outpost - a minor walled settlement that would extend Tauria's influence into the west. However, as the denizens of Tauria crave adventure and glory above all else, Boubalia would grow to accommodate the wave of travelers that sought to reach into the west, eventually growing way beyond its meager walls and into a proper city.
Famous for its running of the Minotaurs, a bloody tradition where convicted criminals are released onto the streets and are subsequently chased down by bull-headed bred, Boubalia is Tauria's most valuable settlement beyond itself. It is from a city of such import that the spiteful Gorgon now launches her campaign, aiming to bring the Sorcerer Kings low and establish Tauria's dominion over the Allerian Plains.
How They Play in First Blood: A gladiator of unmatched ferocity, blessed by the God of Vengeance, she leads her Warband on the front-lines; where her deadly grace outpaces the acumen of her peers. On the battlefield, Persenia gives enemies pause through petrifying displays of grace and prowess, before personally delivering swift death wherever her skills can be tested.
How They Play in The Last Argument of Kings (TLAOK): Cunning strategist and unparalleled duelist, Persenia combines Tauria's aggressive tactics with unmatched martial prowess. Secretly at odds with her city's Taurian god, Persenia keeps a substantial force of Minotaurs at her disposal, but it is her Thorakites and Agema that she truly places her trust in. Persenia is available for Casual and Narrative play, while in TLAOK Organized Play she can be used as an Aristarch.
