Agricola: 15th Anniversary Box

This game is great… I have always loved it. This version however is the worst production. The bigger box does not solve any problems… in fact it causes them. Nothing stays together the bigger box holds everything but not securely causing everything to fly everywhere inside the box. and the cardboard is just poor quality.

Agricola is a great game. This box just doesn’t quite do it in terms of value. It needed to include Farmers of the Moor.

Do you like Wingspan? Then Agricola is a must-try/have for you. We did not have a copy of the original or revised edition and I'll say that the 15th version is a good investment for us. Highly replayable (there are a ton of cards - so no two games will be alike). The upgraded parts and storage design are great and will allow for even more expansions (no it doesn't come with all expansions), but there's room for when we do get them!

Agricola is among the best classic worker placement games, and the 15th-anniversary box offers some fun enhancements (character-shaped meeples) and fan-created rule modifications. The storage solutions are a bit of a mixed bag; the card box is great but the index dividers are set up for still-in-the-package storage, not as cards are actually stored once the packs have been broken open and mixed together for play. The box itself is beautiful, but it's the game inside that brings hours of joy!

This helped me organize all of my expansions for Agricola. The only thing is it didn't take into account the Farmers of the Moore expansion or the 5 and 6 player expansion. It does fit them but had to find a place for it.

Agricola is the greatest boardgame of all time, and this box contains Agricola, the Artifex Deck, the Bubulucus deck, a large Storage Box, and some promo materials. Initially this seems like a great idea of a product release, just not sure who should be the intended buyers? This was originally marketed as a deluxe version of Agricola, but if you have nothing Agricola, the base Agricola Revised retails for $53, and the Artifex and Bubulucus decks retail for $15 each, for a total of $83. This costs a good $30 more than that, aand all that extra $30 gets you is some promo's and a special storage box. If you already own all things Agricola Revised, is a Revised Version of the Seasons Board, X Deck, L Deck, and Fairy Deck and the special storage box enough to warrant a $110 purchase duplicating everything you already have? Likely not. Same for those who even have the first edition of Agricola. The storage box is only meh, as yes it will hold All the decks, the 5/6 player expansion, and the Farmers of the Moor Expansion, but the cardboard insert tray is so flimsy and unusable, if you get this, you will likely be replacing it with a folded space or 3d printed insert. In theory this was a great idea, in execution, I feel it was poorly done.
