Army Painter: Wet Palette Hydro Pack

This paper works perfectly in conjunction with the Army Painter wet palette. The only tiny issue I have is that it doesn't completely cover the sponge--it's just a tiny bit too short to do so--but that's not something I'll delete points over. But it does what I pay it to do, and that well, so I'll be keeping a supply of this on hand at all times, for sure.

When I bought the Hydro Pack, I thought that it included the case for the sheets and foam, and I was initially disappointed. But fear not! If you have some tupperwere that you are not using, it will work perfectly to hold it all together! No need to spend an extra ~$30 on an official container for your wet palette. It works great and for the price it can't be beat.

Love the wet pallet and by far one of the best tools I’ve picked up along the way. Would like to try other brands out there but so far no real complaints.

Couple more foam pads and 50 more hydration sheets can’t hurt. I didn’t really *need* more of either yet, but when I do, it’ll be nice to have supplies on hand. For the price, it’s an easy buy, and this refill stuff will get you a ton of mileage. It’s nice that AP offers such a pack. I’d love to see them offer an upgraded wet palette in future that seals a little better, as well as a larger version, but as is, these products (which I reviewed separately on here) are a pretty solid value.

Great wet palette I just wish the brush tray held the brushes securely.

I meant to order the base wet palette, but got this pack of supplies for it by accident. However, with my hobby knife I was able to cut a tiny strip from the sponge and paper so it fit inside the reclosable plastic package it comes in and made my own impromptu wet palette! I didn't expect to save money doing this at first, but it's become a great DIY wet palette alternative. I glued some thin wood to the bottom of the package so it had a little weight and didn't tip over and it worked better than expected!
