Good Paint

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

I'm using this to paint my wwi inspired 40k army. I love the color. Army Painter is comparable quality to citadel but half the price. Pro tip: thin your paint and shake the bottle like mad before use.

Quality Paint and excellent for Victory at Sea ships

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Army Painter Fog Grey is a paint type that is nearly perfect for those British and certain Pacific ships that have a bluish and purple hue to a light/sky grey (thinking Vallejo colors here). The paint mixed up very well with simple shaking and coverage was excellent. Best part is if you do decide to use a dark ink over the this as a base, the paint is particular dense (or maybe higher pigment?) and is a dream for dry brushing. For both Vallejo and Army Painter, consider picking up metal mixing balls (army painter sets have them) which can be purchased as a Warlord Games product which contains 100 stainless steel balls at 5.5mm (Miniature Market has had them for sale in the past). Recommend putting two of these balls in these paints as it seems to make the paint mixing process. Definitely a good paint for naval and was also effective as a base for Stark units if C'MON's A Song of Ice and Fire game. Finally, the paint mixes well if making a highlight or one off color with P3 paints.
