During a hellish thunderstorm, on the stroke of midnight, a scream is heard in the sleepy town of Ravenswood Bluff. The townsfolk rush to investigate and find the local storyteller has been murdered, their body hanging limply from the clocktower.

As blood drips onto the cobblestones far below, a realization slowly dawns. . . a demon is on the loose, killing by night and taking on human form by day. Can Good find the demon in time? Or will Evil overrun this once peaceful town?

Blood on the Clocktower is a game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception, for 5 to 20 courageous players and 1 devious storyteller.

Great game, super confusing instructions

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

After playing 4 times as storyteller I'm finally getting a handle on how to properly set up and run this game. The instructions are so vague on what pieces are for what purpose it was sooooo confusing to unbox and run the first 3 times. Otherwise the game is amazing

Giant game

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I buy a ton of games, this thing is packed out. I haven't played it yet but will update once I do if it's a bad experience... Honestly don't see how it could be, game looks and feels awesome!

Simply the new standard of social deduction

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

What's so impressive about Blood on the Clocktower is not that it's a great social deduction game without player elimination, with storytelling, and with limited information to find. It's that it took everything good/great about Ultimate Werewolf, combined it with Two Rooms and a Boom, and then created a result that it is better than its components. There is a *real game* underneath. This is not dessert; it is the main course. Oh, and the storyteller can lie.

New Icons, Not Enough Info

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Don't expect to simply buy this game, read the material, and be able to Storytell all games correctly. Many interactions have appropriate procedures to follow that are not covered in the rules or almanacs. Extensive research online is required for running the games properly, but if players are o.k. with your ad hoc leadership, it can still be a lot of fun. The artwork on tokens has changed from previously, and unfortunately not for the better, IMO. Still, this is social deduction at its best, and one of the greatest games to be created, past or future.

This games takes social deduction games like mafia or werewolves and removes all of the bad parts. When you die, you’re still in the game. Everybody gets a unique power, and there really isn’t hanging up and targeting individual players like there is in other social deduction games.
