Excellent expansion with fresh mechanics
The three eras that this expansion introduces are a breath of fresh air after playing the base game for quite some time. The inclusion of foreign expansions and road upgrades make the game a bit more exciting even before you build your first city. Favorite era from this set is the era of barbarians that turns the game on its head and makes you focus on your heroes and units instead of just on city expansions! Lots of fun all around and will keep you playing this game for many weeks more!
