Great Sculpt, So-So Paint Job
Red dragons are possibly the most iconic of the D&D dragons. This is a great one, with a huge wingspan. The Downside? The wings are vertical, right before the downsweep, which means the mini is very tall. If you nudge the top of the wings, it tends to wobble on its relatively small base. If you tap it any harder than that, it's going over. There's a lot of great detail in the sculpt, and I like the red-to-black fade of the wings. The crest from the head all the way to the tail is nice, but poorly painted. It's supposed to be red spikes with black webbing, but it's kind of slopped on, with the red and black both overlapping onto the other color's sections. The whitish underbelly and underside of the wing edge was an odd choice. This dragon also has bright white claw tips on its wing, which again were just slopped on. A bit of touch-up painting will turn this good mini into a magnificent one. You may also want to consider gluing a thin but rigid piece of plastic to the underside of the base to give it some horizontal stabilization. The price is high, but not as high as some other reds that have been released. Overall, a great dragon.

AWESOME!
Hit the jackpot and got this one in a mystery booster, I LOVE this mini, it is a bit more pricey but it is a rare, with a superior paint job and AWESOME pose which differs from others in the line! Highly recommend this mini
