Across the sea, they have so much stuff. And it's so much better than your stuff. Finer craftsmanship. Better quality materials. Shinier. They have crowns, tiaras, and diadems - and that's just the hats. It's time to get some of that stuff. You want an easy life, and you're prepared to work hard for it, so you've rounded up some old salty dogs, plus a sourpuss and a bitter goldfish. And set sail. The sea is a harsh mistress, but a good cook, at least if you like everything really salty. There are red skies tonight, so they'll be making a batch of Sailor's Delight, which you understand to have tuna fish in it. And soon you'll be attacking merchant ships and taking their treasure. But the real treasure is the happy memories you'll be making.

A great value, and adds complexity!
This is my second expansion, the first being Prosperity. I have played roughly 7 games with it, but only 2 were only with cards from this set. The cards add a lot of complexity compared to Prosperity, and it's very fun! Expect the play times to last longer, I'm thinking about 40 minutes for a 2 player game, vs 25 minutes, at least for me and my wife, just getting used to the cards, and duration cards specifically! I see on the app that it's rated as a mid complexity, it'll be interesting to try a more complex expansion one day. Plunder is lots of fun!! And it's the biggest expansion, so lots of bang for your buck.

Solid Expansion For Dominion
As someone who owns everything for Dominion, I will admit some Expansions do not add a lot. This one however does bring a lot with it. If you are a casual Dominion fan or a hardcore, this is one you will want.

Loot galore.
I think this is a very fun expansion to Dominion. I have yet to try it, but I think it would mesh particularly well with prosperity to make some very fun engines with lots of money, the new events would add a lot as well.

More cars for this care game.
It's hard to do Dominion reviews, because either you're here for it and you have to buy it because Donald X owns your soul, or you've never heard of it and you shouldn't be buying expansion #25437. But seriously get into Dominion, if I get 100 souls the dark lord may let me go...
