Hot on the heels of their success in Operatsiya Bagration, Soviet forces struck deep towards the Baltic coast, rapidly severing communications between German Army Group North and what little was left of Army Group Center.By early October 1944, the Soviets were in view of the Baltic Sea, near the port of Memel, definitively cutting off Army Group North from any retreat route through East Prussia.Despite Guderian's plea for an evacuation by sea and subsequent redeployment in Central Europe where forces were desperately needed to help stabilize an increasingly dicey situation, Hitler stubbornly refused.Instead, he ordered the 200,000+ German troops to entrench themselves, in the hope of using the Courland Pocket as a springboard for a future offensive.

Love the new tanks!
Tigers in the Snow features six new tanks and they are scary strong! It's gonna make building custom scenarios even better, and having a new Overlord sized map to play on? AND bonus scenarios? Definitely worth picking up if you're a fan of Memoir 44.

M 44 is always great
Tigers in the Snow is a great add to the system. Plastic minis are solid, so are the expansion rules and you have a devil of a time beating the USSR

Although not pictured, all battle maps include the figures or cards. So glad DOW reprinted.

Must have for Memoir ‘44 fans
I was so pleased that this came back into print after years of being impossible to find. Not only are the maps great fun and tactically interesting , but the Tiger Tank models are one of the most fun units in all the Memoir ‘44 line. This is a must have for enthusiasts of Memoir.

This expansion is NOT a Bridge Too Far!
Yes, Tigers in the Snow is a great scenario pushing around lots of tanks… but Operation Market Garden (on the opposite side) is just as good, if not better! But make sure you watch the classic “A Bridge Too Far†before playing it! Good Times!
