Love this unique game!
One of if not my favorite games, I may be a bit biased. I love the theme and while it's not integral to the gameplay it really shines in the artwork. The meeple movement in this game is like nothing in any other game, and each game is it's own puzzle. It rewards you for being able to see the best move on the board each turn and how much it's worth to you to bid on that move. Great game, with a good price here, I would recommend the expansion after you've played the base game a couple of times.

Five Tribes is a smart fun game.
This game has a mancala feel to it, pick up meeples move them across the board placing one in each adjacent tile. Theres so many cool special combo's once one ends/lands on a tile. There can be some analysis paralysis issues for those who think to much about each move. Just have fun enjoy the game. Be sure not bid to much each round to go first, SAVE your money people, its worth VP at games end.

Definitely a must own
Aside from the retail price of $60 which I feel is a bit steep, the Miniature Market price is a good value for the game. I love this game for a few reasons. 1. The replay ability is fantastic, literally getting a different board layout every time is great. 2. The quality of components is great, lots of wooden bits and quality cardboard and even includes a storage/draw bag. 3. It's very thinky with multiple roads to victory, so it's different in that aspect as well. Great game for the collection and in my opinion a must own.

Great family game
My family loves this game. Two adults, a 14 year old, and an 8 year old. This game is great. What sets this apart from other meeple games is that you have different avenues to victory. Gaining points in so many different ways. This game is about being casual and most often, changing your strategy as the game progresses.

My only complaint is that it is 4 players only. Great for at home play, but, in public places (game stores) it limits who can play. Not a big draw back, but, with the name Five Tribes, well, you thought at least 5 players.

My New Favorite Game!
This game is awesome. If you like victory point games then this one is great. It is also very easy to teach new players because of its simplicity. However, even though it is simple to learn is still involves a lot of strategy to master. If you suffer or have people in your group who suffer from analysis paralysis then this game may not be for you. Other than that this is a top tier game and is a must own for your collection.

A game that keeps you on your toes
This game is quite different each time thanks to the random tile set-up and meeple distribution, as well as multiple paths to victory. The game really forces players to think on their toes. During the bidding phase, players are looking for the optimal move and weighing how much to bid. By the time it's your turn, you might be looking at a completely different board! The game is chock-full of quality components and really hits a home-run for a "thinky" Days of Wonder game.

What else can you expect from Days of Wonder
Components are great, gameplay is top notch and the abstract nature of this game makes the repayability of the charts. The many paths to victory and the changing of the board make it so no two games will be the same. This is a great euro style game and is fun for all numbers of players 2, 3 or 4. I really like that in a two player game you control two bidding pawns that add another depth and you can try to set yourself up for a really great move. Absolutely love this game and recomend it for anyone who enjoys euros.

New challenges every game
With a board of tiles that changes every game and a random selection of 3 meeples on each tile to start, you have massive diversity in game setup. Lots of paths to victory and a succinct auction really make this game a tight, smooth, and fun game. Great tension builds as the game draws to the end. Will I have another action to scoop up some points? Will one of my opponents leave me a play or ?

Great Game
Great game. The mancala mechanic fits perfectly and offers a lot of really interesting decisions. How the 5 tribes works differently is great, and it fits the medium-weight euro I really enjoy. Awesome game, a really nice find.
