Nice add on
This small expansion allows you to play with a themed deck and also comes with an AI deck so you can add an extra player to play solo, or add a “computer player†to a multi player game. Each mini expansion contains a different deck for its country theme, but you do need the base game to play.

Expansion that allows solo play.
While the base game of 1500 The New World is just ok this and all of the other expansions allow solo play. The addition of the start cards in the solo deck and when they come out can have a profound effect on how well you can do.

Each of these decks have a different amount of core cards (ex: blights, wars, explorers, ect.) This deck has 3 copies of iron grip and 4 embargos. The Portuguese like monopolies and royal support. One of their cards allows monopolies to also give royal support. They can lower 2 opponent's royal support and they can lower their own support in return for points.
