Manufacturer: Folded Space

Insert compatible with Dune: The Board Game and the Ixians & Tleilaxu House Expansion expansion. The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play. Many of the trays can be utilised during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The rules and boards act as a lid on top of the trays.

The design works with both the standard retail version, and with the limited edition which includes miniatures.

This product consists of a flat-pack of 4 Evacore sheets. The trays require assembly, which is quick and fun, using ordinary PVA glue. Detailed instructions are included in the package.

Insert designed for game with external box dimensions of 26.7 x 26.7 x 6.6 cm.

Game(s) and components are not included.

Learn to Fold Space

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Like all of the Folded Space box inserts, this takes a bit of time to assemble with regular white glue (this one, about an hour). Once assembled and thoroughly cured, it does exactly what it says, allowing the efficient storage of the game components. The game trays are individual rather than bonded, so players can use these to store tokens and decks while playing. This one allows the inclusion of the Ixian & Teilaxu Expansion in the original box. For some very fiddly games, these organizers are nice to have.

One Box Storage for Dune!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Easy to follow instructions and short assembly time for the insert. Separates not only factions but also denominations of Spice currency. Makes set up, play, and clean up much faster. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Took a little time to get the gluing down, but I couldn't be more happy with the results. Fits perfect in the box!

Exactly what Dr. Yueh ordered!

Works great! It's pretty easy to put together, you just need a bit of Elmer's glue. The player pieces are divided up so you can just hand each player their storage tray. The Spice is divided up so you can put those trays out on the table. There's room for extra cards, as well, and I have mine divided up pretty liberally. There's a chance they may be able to even supply an add-on so this can fit the second Dune expansion.

The Spice must flow (or at least be better organized)

I have always been a big fan of the Dune franchise and if you are a gamer and a fan the last two years have been fantastic for you. We have seen the re-release of the classic AH Dune by GF9 and a brand-new worker placement / deck builder in Dune Imperium. Last year, I was happy the hear that Folded Space was putting out an organizer for the rerelease of Dune with space for the Ixians and the Tleilaxu expansion. This week my copy came in from Miniature Market. It was what I expected from Folded Space, nice clean cuts, good quality foam core, and excellent instructions. This is the 4th organizer that I have gotten from Folded Space and one thing that I have wished that I had known was this little trick. Lay out the pieces flat, run a line of glue where the piece will meet and then assemble (See picture below). This is a huge time saver and ensures that you will have a good bond when dry. All in all, in went together sure easy with no mysteries that you need to solve when you are assembling. One thing that you need to look out for though, if you got the version that had the Resin Miniatures; you will need to make sure you choose the correct assembly for it. One quick reminder something that ever board game collector should have in their inventory is a bag of desiccant pouches. Even after leaving these overnight to dry you should toss one or two in there to make sure that you minimize mold and moisture damage.
