Box Insert: A Feast for Odin & Mini Expansion #1

Holds all the items. Would be nice to have the option to house the expansions too.

I have enjoyed adding the Folded Space board game inserts to some of our favorite games. Whether you have kids and barely any time to play board games these days, or you just like things to be nice and organized... these inserts are for you! Was able to fit all of Feast for Odin easily and makes it a breeze to setup and get playing. I do not have the Mini Expansion #1 yet. The only thing I could want more is for it to be colorful with designs (something new they have started doing to some games).

Definitely an improvement over bags and bags. I like that it needs glue as snap kits don't hold up well. Functions well enough to hold all the components, but doesn't quite solve every component problem.Mostly just minor quibbles that I may solve in time after repeated packing/unpackings.

The box inserts are a nice addition to the box. We’ve played 5 times since getting the insert and set up and tear down is so much faster. The long set up time was the only Con to the game, in my mind. The items come in sheets of very light material, but when you put them together with a little glue, they are surprisingly solid. It was kind of fun putting them together. I had to review the mfr website (indicated on the instructions) just to see how best to lay them in the box, but now it’s second nature, looks great and they help keep things straight.

Excellent quality, and it holds the components well. Directions were fabulous and easy to follow, and they include info about which bins hold which components. My only gripe is that I wish the bins were more like wide trays than separate containers. Otherwise, it's fabulous!

If you have Mini Expansion #2 and/or the Norwegians expansion, be forewarned, those will add height to the contents of the box, leading to the lid being pushed up about an inch. That said, while this organizer won't help you with storing any of the boards (tableaus, plundered/forged items, resource mats, etc) more efficiently, I did find that the ease of getting the resources, silver and whatnot out of the box pre-sorted saves a few minutes at least, not to mention putting it all away again. While I do feel they should release a supplemental organizer to this one to fix the rest of the expansions, for any completionists (like myself) who purchased this organizer, you will still likely find this organizer useful as it is. I can't, and do not, blame them for this. It is quite clearly stated in the product title. You will just need to accept the extra height to your box or store some of the boards in the Norwegians expansion box, and tote that around with you.
