Ally and Villain packs contain detailed plastic figures to replace the tokens provided in the Core Set. These figures can be used in both the Imperial Assault campaign game and the skirmish game, and every Ally Pack and Villain Pack offers you new missions for both games.
In the Rebel Troopers Ally Pack, you'll find three sculpted plastic Rebel Trooper figures for use in any campaign and skirmish missions. These fearless soldiers of the Rebellion are ready to lay down their lives to defend its ideals, and the new missions included in this figure pack give you the chance to join the fight for freedom. Journey to a Geonosis foundry for two skirmish missions that challenge you to attack your opponent's power generators or capture a powerful, experimental weapon. Or, play a new campaign side mission that forces you to download critical data before Imperial Stormtroopers overrun the Rebel Troopers' position. Six new Command cards bring new options to your skirmish missions with incendiary specializations like Grenadier.

Great addon for Imperial assault. Good for expanding the Core Game. I love having the miniature to replace the cardboard token. And a side mission that can be added to your campaign.

MUST HAVE for Rebel skirmish armies
These guys make a wall!!!! The Elite Troopers make for a formidable force in skirmish mode, ESPECIALLY when paired with Fenn Signis. The ability to get in formation (Gain movement up to movement cost and gain Focus) and with Fenn near the entire group, you can have up to SIX attacks ALL on the Rebel Troopers turn!!! Like I said... a WALL! Great looking figures and great skirmish possibilities make this a MUST HAVE for anyone wanting to play Rebels in skirmish!

These guys make a wall!!!! The Elite Troopers make for a formidable force in skirmish mode, ESPECIALLY when paired with Fenn Signis. A great option to have for skirmishes
It is great to have these guys. They are a good low cost unit that can give you some extra figures to balance out your forces against an imperial player.

Flesh out your Starter set
The Rebel Troopers Ally Pack is a must buy for anyone wanting to play either the Skirmish or Campaign of Imperial Assault. The models and extra cards really flesh out both the options in Skirmish and Campaign with special command cards and other. Models are as always beautiful. Definitely looking forward to more from FFG.

Kinda Required.
This pack is necessary to have a mission to gain Rebel troopers for the campaign unless you take the Hero Gideon as his side mission will reward generic versions. That said if you have any plan to play the Skirmish game this expansion is a must needed set as it gives the Rebel players the option to use low cost generic units, where at this point they mostly have Skirmish versions of the Heroes.
