Star Wars: Imperial Assault - R2-D2 & C-3PO Ally Pack

C-3PO provides great defensive support but R2-D2 has better abilities in my opinion. Worth picking up to complete a collection and to add variety to your campaign.

Yup it's the mechanical comedy team who gets the heroes out of tight spots in the clinch. Cool side mission! R2 can be one heck of a bonus either in mission or skirmish! You know you want them so just put them in your cart now!

Just slap a new pink color on these baby's and rename them the dongo brothers 10 out of ten

A little late to the party, but these guys are amazing. it's hard to make a rebel or scum list and not include C-3PO for his ability to give out focus. R2's card draw is amazing as well.

Who would think these two would be worth having? They are great for the game and cheap units for the skirmish. R2 even has two separate cards for skirmish or campaign setting. As with all the models, they are great looking and can fill in nicely on your shelf for display. I also use for RPG so that's a bonus too.

C-3PO and R2-D2 are not only iconic characters in Star Wars lore, but are valuable support units in SW:IA. FFG has made a subtle change with this expansion, in that they have included two different unit cards for each character - one for Campaign and one for Skirmish. This allows for some slight differences in abilities, which is a good idea given the role in the Campaign game may not be as effective in Skirmish. Production value is excellent and the sculpts look terrific. For some reason, C-3PO looks a little porky compared to the other models, but I am not sure why. As always, this mini expansion contains a Skirmish map, command cards, and some other various content to add in Campaign games.
