Ixth. The lost planet.

Scholars have long debated the existence of Ixth. Once rumored to be a verdant paradise, an expedition through an enigmatic gateway has revealed the truth. Ixth was never a paradise - it was a prison.

When the Lazax Imperium was in its infancy, it waged bloody war upon the tyrants known as the Mahact. World by world, the Mahact were pushed back, until only Ixth remained.

In a desperate gambit to end the war, the Lazax isolated the Mahat and their ancestral home from the rest of the galaxy. But over the millennia, the secret of Ixth's existence - and it's location - would reach the ears of those easily manipulated.

As the echoes of the past tear through the galaxy an the Prophecy of Ixth turns to ash, a new flame grows amidst the still-burning embers. The Prophecy of Kings.

The best space game on the market.

You want Diplomacy, Politics, War, the funding from the best Species in the game... thundercats... I mean The Emirates of Hacan. This game is truly amazing and worth its salt.

Love this Expansion!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

My and my gaming buddies were looking for more than 5 or more player game board games. This expansion to make it from 6 to 8 is perfect and the new rules make it so much more fun.

Really completes the TI experience

The added factions, mechs, techs, and agents give you a fuller experience without slowing down the game. Highly recommend this.

The Imperium Grows

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Prophecy of Kings is the (first) expansion for Twilight Imperium 4th edition, supplementing this landmark 4x space opera game with seven new factions, new mechanics, pieces for adding a 7th & 8th player and more. This is the quintessential expansion for TI4, bringing new strategies and opportunities for player interactions. Many of these new features are revisions of previous components, but updated to fit in seamlessly with the 4th edition: Planetary exploration (Distant Suns from 3rd edition) Legendary Planets with unique attributes Mechs with unique abilities (formerly mechanized units) Leaders (heavily revised from the Shattered Empire expansion from 3rd edition) Expanded action, agenda & objective card pools If you are a fan of TI4, this is a must-have for your gaming experience.

Just more good stuff

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

PoK is a pricey but worthwhile addition. Mechs, leaders, some restored elements from TI3 expansions, it is just an elevation of an already epic game. I have fully integrated mine and do not plan to play without it ever.

Great expansion for the greatest game ever made

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I rate Twilight Imperium the best board game ever made and the expansion does not hurt that assessment. There is a ton of new and extra content here without adding very much play time, if any. While I do wish it had been a modular expansion instead of take it all or leave it, I see why FFG chose to do it the way they did. Modular would have been a bit too complicated with the new races, mechs and leaders. I highly recommend this expansion to fans of the base game.

Great expansion

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This expansion adds so many good options to the game that it makes a great game even better. New mechanics as well as additional content for existing mechanics make it an all around fantastic expansion.

More than i bargained for (great Value!!)

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

The long awaited expansion with extra races, and several modules to take your experience to the next level. Obviously adding 2 extra players is bound to add some time to an already extensive experience, but nothing anyone looking for an expansion isn't aware off by now. Quality is very similar to 4th as expected. Another module introduces new ways to score points making for an opportunity to make the game shorter if you can believe that. Very excited about the new tiles and options to connect tiles by lanes, making the board more dynamic on those situations where the player count might get some people too far or too close to the action. Very pleased with the value.

Excellent Expansion for an Excellent Game

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Twilight Imperium 4th Edition is an excellent improvement from the 3rd edition game. It streamlines a lot of the complicated elements, and makes the gameplay more dynamic. The expansion only adds to the experience by adding seven new factions, and other interesting ways to spice up the game.

Maybe the best single expansion for Twilight Imperium

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Prophecy of Kings adds a lot of variety to the game without really complicating it; veterans of TI4 will pick up the new rules pretty immediately, and even new players shouldn’t have much trouble figuring them out. In general, the reintroduction of planetary exploration is deeper and more satisfying than its iteration in the 3rd edition of the game, and mechs bring some much needed flavor to ground combat. The new promissory notes add even more to TI4’s much improved diplomatic game versus TI3. If you like TI4 and want to shake things up, or just think the new factions are cool, I’d give this an absolute recommendation.
