Great addition to the base game
I have now played this expansion online(BGA) and as a physical copy. The addition of this card set adds a lot to the base and make for a more variable gameplay. I'd certainly recommend this, the expansion is staying permanently with the base game

More paths to victory
I like how this opens up different paths to victory. No longer do wolves and deer win the day.

Perfect expansion to Forest Shuffle!
Ever thought the wolves were OP and butterflies a waste of time? Alpine expansion fixes all of that! New cards to balance the game. More buffs for birds and butterflies. More ways to get cards in your caves. A very satisfying expansion!
