Great expansion
Great expansion. The new modules really add to the game without making the game harder to learn or longer to play.

A Must-Have Expansion!
Furnace: Interbellum is a must-have expansion! It adds new Capitalists, Companies, and Start-up cards; along with new game elements, additional resources (Coal, Iron, and Oil), and a 5th player (bluish-green). The new elements can be used together with everything from the base game, or employed separately, or in any combination. This expansion includes an updated card to replace the Tophat Capitalist (or Nikolay Vtorov) card from the base game, which clarifies Old Tophat's ability.

If you like Furnace, but want a little more....
Furnace: Interbellum is a wonderful expansion to Furnace. While I haven't played it with 5 players yet, the expansion makes that possible. The new Building cards add cool new actions and effects, and the manager cards can really make your line of buildings more efficient and powerful. If Furnace is at the upper end of your acceptable level of complexity, then maybe give the expansion a pass. However, if Furnace felt fun but middle of the road to you, this expansion will make you think harder and plan more.
