Not an ideal two player game, but cute and fun

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Despite being labeled as a 2-4 player game, the 2-player version can create a lopsided disadvantage for one player that's difficult to recover from. After that imbalance is in play, the rest of the game is a slow march towards death. A third player is necessary to create a checks-and-balances mechanic that prevents one player from taking an early and insurmountable lead. The mechanics are unnecessarily complex for a simplified worker placement game for ages 8+, but the art and theming are adorable. A great way to teach strategy to your younger gamers. And who doesn't love an angry bear who is actually more adorable than ferocious?
