Good Euro but Needs some work
The game is good and typical of Euro style games. However, because someone is in control of how much a commodity costs, whomever is controlling the price of Wood can make the game last long or very difficult for other players to advance in the game. Things like Beer could gain a lot of money but no one ever really needs Beer, so it's hard to make money with it. It's still fun and a good use of playing cards for actions, but needs to be polished.

Cool econmoic simulation
Kutna Hora would be a fairly traditional Euro game, but the dynamic economy allows players to figure out the best timing to make their moves in order to minimize their spending. It's a simple concept that it so smoothly executed.

Kutna Hora is a Euro game that has exceptional trade-off choices, as you would expect from the genre, AND unlike some Euros I could mention, Kutna Hora has phenomenal player interactions. You are in an economic ecosystem that other players are constantly changing and you need to have a nimble and flexible strategy to take advantage of the opportunities. It's got a lot of depth and I don't think it's possible to solve it. Disclaimer: I've only played once so I haven't seen enough to speak to balance between strategies. However, I was impressed enough to go out and buy it after playing it at the local board game meetup.

Solid Euro Game
Played this once so far with two. The market is very cool. I can’t wait to try this again with 4 players as I could see the push and pull of the market being unique.
