Your bear park is expanding...because the grizzlies are coming! That's right, some of the biggest bears on earth will be making their new home in your park. Their habitats need to be huge, though, so do your best to fit them in any way you can!
And with a bigger park, you'll also need to give your guest a way to get around. That's where your brand new monorail system comes in. Build towers on green areas, and then connect them with monorail tracks to score extra points. There are also six new achievements to discover that will challenge your skill as a park designer. Who will build the most interesting park? And bear in mind: bigger IS better here!

More bears!
This expansion has three modules that can be separated or combined as desired. First, the new objective tiles can be shuffled in for some tricky new goals. Second, the grizzly bear habitats can be gained by a player if she discards a bear house and a green space. These tiles are huge and can cover a ton of spaces! Third, the monorails must be positioned in very specific ways, requiring a lot of forward planning to be used well. All of these modules are fun, and the ability to mix and match your favorites takes Barenpark from a 9 to a 10!

More polyomino puzzle-ey goodness
I'm a huge fan of the base game of Barenpark, and this is just frosting on the cake. The additional objective tiles provided in this box are challenging to work around, and satisfying to pull off - much more than any of the goals in the base set. The 6-cell bear enclosure tiles are a lot of fun to work around, and provide a clever reward for players who wind up with multiple tiles in their hand. The monorails are also really cool, and add some welcome scoring opportunities to the wheelbarrow tiles from the base game. If you like Barenpark and are interested in a bit of an extra challenge, it's hard to go wrong with this expansion
