Azul: Crystal Mosaic Expansion

I am an avid Azul fan, and this was one of the last editions left to complete my collection. It really is just four slightly nicer player boards that have a couple extra little features that can make for a slightly more challenging game. Is it a necessary purchase? No, but if you’re really into Azul like me, it’s still plenty of fun.

The overlays work very well, and the new boards are interesting. If you're a fan of Azul, this is a good purchase.

This does exactly what it says and keeps your boards clean and organized. And the extra boards are a great bonus. We won't play without them.

Worth it for the plastic tray overlays alone. Also introduces a couple new ways to play the game with shakes it up and adds even more replay value.

The overlays are great for keeping your tiles and scoring marker in place. The new boards provide new strategies to keep things fresh if you're tired of the existing boards. Worth getting since this is relatively cheap.

Great companion to The original Azul. I when a good game can be expanded and played other ways! You will too. 😀

The overlays are cheap, thin plastic, but will work well when playing with our 5 year old who is constantly on the move when playing games with us. The extra boards will provide some additional variability.

I love Azulejo which is why I bought this, but honestly it’s a vain waste of money. There is nothing significantly adding to the experience here. But if you’re like me and have some money to burn to make your already pretty game that much prettier… go ahead and pull the trigger.
