Awesome for kids (elementary)

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I am loving this game. More importantly, my kids are loving this game. I regularly play with my 7- and 9-year-olds, and they are both even more enamored with it than I am. It's very simple to understand, fun to play, and turns are extremely quick which makes for high engagement and high fun levels. Highly recommended!

Worker placement that feels feels familiar, yet different

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Another excellent addition to this collection of games. Worker placement is coupled with increasing costs of manpower as each area is temporarily taken by each player. Almost no take that, and a pleasantly easy game to teach new players and experienced ones alike. Combining this game with either of its predecessors (or both) creates a unique take on the same basic formula of the trilogy: get gems, convert gems, profit!

Got this after playing Century Golems (Spice Road). Very different play style. Mechanics were a little confusing at first, but after playing a bit it clicked pretty quickly. Meta game is more complex than the original. Played 2 player, but game really feels like it wants 4. Probably my favorite of the three.

Great addition

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Great addition to, not only our Century: Golem collection, but our game collection as a whole. Easy to learn and play, complex enough that it can’t be mastered in a single playing. We also love how unique each of the Century games are and the beauty of the artwork. Even managed to get our five-year-old to play, and even though we had to take several breaks was still fun, and he managed to win, significantly.
