Bought this based on the theme and realized after the first game that strategy was deeper than expected. Good family game, my kids are 8 and 10 and picked it up quickly. It challenged my 10 year old to think a few steps ahead, sometimes ahead of me ðŸ˜Â.

Raids
Raiders is a quick light worker placement. Is fun and easy to learn play and get to the table. I am usually not a fan of worker placement games but this one is a shining exception.

Worker placement game with an interesting twist
This is a solid worker placement game with an interesting twist to a mechanic that has been used in so many games. In this game, players place a worker to take an action and then take another worker off the board to take that action as well. This leads to a game with quick, snappy turns and each turn feels like a satisfying combo because of the two actions per turn.

Staple Worker Placement Game for Any Collection
If you like Worker Placement as a mechanism, Raiders of the North Sea is one to have in your collection. The place one/take one mechanism is very interesting, and the progression of the game is very rewarding. I prefer the look of the North Sea board over the Raiders of Scythia, even though the games are very similar. There's a reason this game has become a modern classic!

Great Game in a Great Trilogy
My favorite of the North Sea games. This is a fun worker placement game with a twist. Each turn you will place a worker, then pull a different worker from the board, doing both actions. It has a lot of strategy and multiple paths to victory. The art and components are fantastic! If you like worker placement games, this is a must have on the shelf!
