Manufacturer: Rio Grande Games

This expansion contains two maps for new strategic challenges.

In Aegyptus, the nile and its yearly flood brings some extra food. You can also engage yourself in trade with frankincense or gold for sestertii and victory points at the end of the game.

In Creta, you play on a tight map containing only twenty cities in nine provinces (one with only a single city).

Both maps can be played at all player counts, but become very competitive with four and especially with five players. The maps also have a new format which is a little longer, but clearly smaller than previously released maps.

Ages: 13+
Players: 2-5
Game Length: 90 minutes

This is not a stand-alone game. A copy of Concordia is required to play.

Fantastic maps for low player counts

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

If you play Concordia with 2 or 3 players, this is what you need. Aegyptus has some extra complications that make it great for experienced players. Highly recommended!

Love the new maps. Greta is great for 2 player games and the Aegyptus map has some interesting new rules. Would definitely recommend!

Great expansion for lower player counts

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

This expansion adds strategic and tactical variety for experienced Concordia players to explore. Both maps are small enough to work best with two or three players, though the Egypt map could support four in a tight game. Five is right out. Both offer small variations (gold/frankincense/wild resource province) that make you plan a new strategy. And the new, alternate card row may change your tactics, as wine becomes more useful. It breathes more fresh air into the wonderful game that is Concordia.
