Into the Horizon is much more of a mixed bag than the other SoI expansions. The Destinies are fun for adding a bit more asymmetry, and add a little urgency to the early stages of the race for mastery. The extra market cards are cool, as well. However, the Ingeminex are underwhelming. There are only five of them in the entire Central deck, and since they only attack once, they end up feeling more like piñatas waiting to be broken than deadly enemies. For under ten bucks USD, this is still worth it, but it doesn't quite reach the same level of quality as the rest of the game.

Better than Star Realms
Shards of Infinity is a great deck-building game with awesome mechanisms that clean up the genre. This final(?) expansion further balances and streamlines what was already a great game.

More cards are never an issue
This expansion adds some more cards for the center deck which adds some nice variety. The large amount of extra powers that are unlocked at 5 mastery are pretty nice as well, but so far don't seem to do too much other than make the games last longer (by providing extra health/shields).
