This is my first time buying an Epic Encounter box, and to be honest it was just because it was on sale. What I found was impressive. Nice little battle map, the book has 3 different difficulty scales (depending on the party's level), some fun tactics but the biggest highlight was the mini. It is impressive and has great details, swords sticking out of leg, from a past battle, wolf skins boots, just amazing. I included a photo, next to my standard frost giant. I was not disappointed.

Awesome figure
Really cool design, great little touches like the human sized weapons stuck into his flesh. Very nice detail for a PVC boardgame type mini. Maps and stuff useful but I just wanted the giant. Got this on deep discount and worth it at that price, not sure I'd pay retail for one of these boxes tho.

Imposing miniature and good DM directions
The included giant is larger and more imposing than your typical giant sculpt. The included manual gives great ideas for running the encounter.

Love these guys.
I don't love every single word 9f the encounters as written, but there is so much awesomeness in these boxes how can you not want another one. Truly cool minis, and the encounter book really does provide alot of, often unique, ideas for pick and choose from. A truly great effort by people that love this hobby.
