Nice gold armor color, but not very opaque and flows fast

I like the color and shading this provides. I don't have to add a wash to darken the crevises. Two things I didn't like: it really flows fast. too much on the brush and it goes everywhere. Its also less opaque. Putting it over a straight white or black base, its fine (white is better), but any overpaint from surrounding areas will show thru.

Good metallic paint

This was a little darker than Hoplite Gold. It went on with one coat and spread evenly.

A good gold for armour.

A great golden armour color for miniatures.

Excellent time savers for those heavy metal miniature paint jobs

While the traditional painting method of prime, base, shade and highlight system will give you better visual results, these metallic speed paints give a great table-top-ready presentation in half the time. I've used these on 6mm and 15mm figures as well as on 28mm weapons and armor with good results. Will you win your next painting contest right out of the bottle? Not likely, but you will get armies on the table in a faster time with very good visual results. Recommended for gamers especially, but those hard-core painters will find these of great use as well.
